Sam has been qualified as a hygienist for 30 years, 23 of these she has worked at Tovey and Little. As a long-standing hygienist Sam has followed many of her patients throughout their life helping them maintain and improve their oral hygiene and overall dental health.

Sam loves encouraging and helping patients to look after their teeth and gums both in the surgery and when in day-to-day life. For Sam the work she does is more than just what she does in the surgery, as home care is just as valuable and an important part of the whole treatment of what hygienists provide. With Sams enthusiastic energy and contagious smile, she makes patients feel welcome and at ease in her surgery.

Sam lives in North Yorkshire and her commitment to the practice, her colleagues and her patients sees her travel across Yorkshire two days a week to provide treatment to patients and occasionally sweet snacks for staff.
Outside of work Sam enjoys the great outdoors, travelling in her campervan, hiking, skiing, and getting up to all things adventurous.
