Dr Fahad Al-Dabbagh MSc, PhD (Res), LDS RCS (Eng), MSc (Clin) Periodontics, BDS
Dentist With a Special Interest in Periodontics and Implantologist
I earned my bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from the University of Mosul in 2005, marking the beginning of my journey in dentistry.
Recognizing the significance of specialised knowledge in periodontics, I pursued and achieved a clinical master’s degree in Periodontics awarded from the University of Baghdad in 2011. Driven by a passion for advancing my expertise, I completed a PhD in Periodontal Tissue Regeneration from Leeds Dental School in 2020, contributing to the latest advancements in the field.
Having practiced dentistry since 2006, my commitment to education led me to joining academia. As a clinical lecturer in periodontal and restorative dentistry, I've had the privilege of sharing my knowledge both in Iraq and the United Kingdom. This academic experience has enriched my perspective and fuelled my dedication to helping my patient equipped with knowledge and clinical experience.
My philosophy centres around the belief that the health of gum and surrounding tissues is integral to overall well-being. Early diagnosis and comprehensive management of gum disease are paramount, ensuring optimal outcomes for my patients.
At Tovey Little Dental, I employ an evidence-based approach, leveraging advanced dental technologies including laser therapy, regenerative materials, and digital dentistry. In addition to my expertise in periodontics, I have been practicing dental implantology since 2012. Dental implants, with their high success rate over time, offer an effective solution for the replacement of missing teeth. I am enthusiastic about incorporating this option into our comprehensive treatment plans when indicated.
I invite you to Tovey Little Dental, where we can collaborate to address your dental and periodontal concerns. Together, we can achieve and maintain a healthy, natural smile. Looking forward to helping you.
